It is the policy of Southern Can Making Company (SCMC) to produce & supply safe products of agreed quality to consistently meet customer needs & expectations and enhance customer satisfactions. So there is complete assurance that our customer receives the optimum cans quality & are unlikely to become ill or injured by foreign objects present in the product.
In order to achieve this objective, we are rigorously adhered & committed to relevant National, International Statutory/Regulatory Requirements and with mutually agreed quality & food safety requirements of the customer.
We are striving to achieve growth & leading position in cans making industry thru our high commitment to the following:
- Supplying high quality, safe & hygiene cans products to the consumers.
- Prevention approaches rather than detection/rectification.
- Complying requirements & continually improve the effectiveness of Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) & Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000:2005).
- Creating an environment of teamwork as well as improve employees’ awareness, knowledge & commitment toward QMS (ISO 9001:2015) & FSMS (ISO 22000:2005) by identify & provide relevant training.
- Maintain appropriate communication channels with customers, suppliers & statutory/regulatory authorities to ensure that sufficient information on issues concerning quality &food safety is available as well as provide internal communication in the company to communicate any changes that having an impact on quality or food safety.
- Setting up the necessary food safety & quality objectives which can improve the effectiveness of QMS ISO 9001:2015 & FSMS ISO 22000:2005.
SCMC is working always to ensure that this policy is communicated, understood & implemented at all levels of the company to maintain & improve the safety & quality of its products. This policy is always under revision on periodic basis for ensuring its efficiency and suitability.
